What is Leading Your Child to Success?

Leading Your Child to Success is a totally self-paced, online course consisting of video presentations, written exercises, and discussions with real parents, grandparents, and those thinking of becoming parents.

LYCTS will show you how to make the ultimate shift from struggling to get through each day’s to-do list to … enjoying the freedom that comes from creating the optimum environment for your child’s learning, taking advantage of diverse experiences (including failure), and engaging your child in ways you never thought possible.

Learn more in the course home page here.

Who is this course for?
  •  All parents, from those expecting to those already with children
  •  Grandparents, aunts, uncles, “framily” (the friends who are like family)
  •  Teachers, counselors, or anyone else who works in the service of children
What are the topics covered?

Raising Families is focused on the big picture goals of parenting. What capabilities do you want your children to have when they become adults? What can you start doing right now to make sure they achieve those capabilities?

Through helping you change your mindset from family manager to family leader, we give you knowledge and insights to help you break down the entire map of how you can uniquely empower your children now to thrive as capable and successful adults in the future.

How long can I access the course?

The downloadable workbook and exercises are yours to keep forever. However you will only have access to the videos as long as you are a paying member. (Membership program to be announced Spring 2021)

How much time will I need to complete the course?

This course was designed for busy people to be able to jump in whenever they have a few minutes available. Each week you’ll receive a new batch of three to five new modules. On average, it’s a total of about 60 minutes of new video material each week.

You do not need to watch all the modules in one sitting. Take one at a time whenever you have 10-20 minutes available.

Each module also contains an exercise to complete independently. Sometimes the exercises require only a few minutes. With others, you may want to spend more time processing and reviewing your answers with the family.

Remember there is no limit on how long you can access the course. If you have a super busy week and don’t complete all the videos, it’s no problem. Just jump back in at your next opportunity. Everything is self-paced.

Learn more about Elane and Rick here.

Do you add new material to the program?

Yes. Periodically we update exercises and add additional resources. When those updates happen, you’ll receive the new course material in your email inbox.

Should my partner and I take this together?

Yes, if possible! It’s ideal to take in this new information together, learning about each other’s past influences and identifying your current and future values for your family. It helps to be on the same page. You do not need to purchase two memberships. We expect that members of the same household will take the course together.

However, if you find your spouse isn’t ready yet, do it anyway! Your leadership alone will do remarkable things for you and your kids. Everyone wins.
